DECLARATION OF SPECIAL DIVIDEND
Notice is hereby given that a special dividend of 200 cents per share has been
declared in respect of the 17 months ended 31 March 2009. The reason for the
dividend is that AME has surplus cash at its disposal. The salient dates of the
declaration are as follows:
Last day to trade in order to be eligible for the Thursday, 2 April 2009

Payment date Tuesday, 14 April 2009
Shares may not be dematerialised / rematerialised between Friday, 3 April 2009
