TRADING UPDATE
In terms of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, companies are
required to publish a trading update as soon as they are satisfied that a
reasonable degree of certainty exists that the financial results for the
period to be reported on will differ by 20% or more from the financial results
for the previous corresponding period.
Interwaste Holdings is currently finalising its results for the year ended 31
December 2008 and shareholders are advised that the directors expect the
earnings per share for the year then ended to increase by between 80% and
100%, and headline earnings per share for the year then ended to increase by
between 100% and 120%, over those for the previous corresponding period.
Fully diluted earnings and headline earnings per share are expected to
increase by between 62% and 82% over those for the previous corresponding
period.
The financial information on which this trading update is based has not been
reviewed or reported on by the company`s auditors.
The company`s results for the year ended 31 December 2008 are expected to be
published on SENS on or before 31 March 2009.
