Nature of transaction: WJ Smit entered into a 5000 Single Stock Futures
Agreement as announced on SENS on 7 December 2007. Due to current general
market conditions and the changes that have been effected to margining
requirements on Single Stock Futures, it is not possible to extend the date of
performance and accordingly, this position will be closed out. Contractually,
WJ Smit is now obliged to close out this position on 19 March 2009 being the
expiry date of the said agreement. On the closure of the position, he will
receive 500,000 ordinary Blue shares.
