TRADING STATEMENT
In terms of paragraph 3.4 (b) of the JSE Limited (" JSE" ) listings
requirements, companies are required to publish a trading statement as soon as
they become reasonably certain that the financial results for the period to be
reported upon differ by at least 20% from that of the previous corresponding
period.
The Board of Directors of AfroCentric advises that its basic headline earnings
and earnings per share and fully diluted headline earnings and earnings per
share for the six months ended 31 December 2008 is expected to show an increase
of between 70% and 80% compared to the comparable period of 31 December 2007.
The information contained in this trading statement has not been reviewed or
reported on by the Company`s external auditors. AfroCentric will release its
interim results for the six month period ended 31 December 2008 on 31 March
2009.
