TRADING STATEMENT
Shareholders are advised that Dynamic Cables` headline earnings and earnings
per share for the year ended 31 December 2008 are expected to be lower than
the previous comparable period by between 44% to 64%, and 131% to 151%
respectively. The difference between headline earnings per share and basic
loss per share relates to an unrealised impairment to the value of preference
shares held to maturity given current market volatility and uncertainty.
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not
been reviewed or reported on by the company`s auditors. The reviewed results
are expected to be published on or about 31 March 2009.
