financial statements for the year ended 31 December 2008 and notice of annual
general meeting, was posted to shareholders on Tuesday, 31 March 2009. The
annual report will be made available on the Company`s website on
www.liberty.co.za. An abridged report will not be published as the
information previously published in Liberty Holdings` audited results on
Thursday, 26 February 2009 is unchanged. PricewaterhouseCoopers Inc. audited
the results and the annual financial statements of the Liberty Group and
their report is available for inspection at the registered offices of Liberty
Holdings.
Notice of the Annual General Meeting
Notice is hereby given that the 41st Annual General Meeting of Liberty
Holdings` shareholders will be held on the Fourth Floor, Liberty Life Centre,
1 Ameshoff Street, Braamfontein, Johannesburg 2001 on Friday, 15 May 2009 at
09:00 to transact the business as stated in the notice of the annual general
meeting, which was issued together with the annual report containing the
annual financial statements of Liberty Holdings for the year ended 31
December 2008.
