RESIGNATION OF DIRECTOR
Notification is hereby given in accordance with the JSE Limited Listings
Requirements (par. 3.59(b)), that Nick Wentzel has, for personal reasons,
resigned as Chief Executive Officer of Astral Foods. Nick will remain in office
until the end of April 2009 after which he will pursue alternative business
interests. The Board of Astral Foods is following due process to appoint a
successor and an announcement will be made in due course.
The Astral Foods Board wishes to thank Nick for his significant contribution to
Astral Foods since listing in 2001 and wishes him well in his future endeavours.
