The net attributable asset value ("NAAV") of the Foord Compass Limited Variable
Rate Debentures ("the debentures") is reported on by the company on a quarterly
basis. The NAAV as at 31 March 2009 amounted to 663.4 cents per debenture (31
December 2008: 685.3 cents on an ex-interest basis). This represents a decline
in the NAAV of 3.2% over the quarter.
Debenture interest of 57.6 cents per debenture was paid to debenture holders in
February 2009 in respect of the final interest declaration for the six months
ended 31 December 2008 as announced on 20 January 2009.
The reported NAAV has not been reviewed or reported on by the company`s
auditors.
