APPOINTMENT OF INDEPENDENT NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
In accordance with paragraph 3.59(a) of the Listings Requirements of the JSE
Limited, the board of directors of ARB ("the board") is pleased to announce that
Ms Makhosazana ("Khosi") Sibisi has been appointed to the board as an
independent non-executive director with effect from 16 April 2009.
Khosi holds a degree in Social Sciences from City College of New York, and a
diploma in Supply Chain Management from the Elle Broad Graduate School of
Management in Michigan. She is a former founding member of Simeka
Communications, Theta Global Communication and Khusela Women Investments.
Khosi has also held various executive positions during her career, including
with the Independent Electoral Commission, Telkom SA and Harmony Gold and she
currently serves on the board of several private and public companies, including
Iliad Africa Limited, Peregrine Holdings Limited and Hyprop Investments Limited.
