DIVIDEND ANNOUNCEMENT
Palabora shareholders are referred to the Company`s reviewed preliminary results
for the year ended 31 December 2008 wherein the board of Palabora ("the Board")
declared its intention to consider dividend declarations on a quarterly basis.
The Board considered the declaration of a dividend at a board meeting held
yesterday and resolved to reconsider dividend payment during July 2009 in order
to coincide with the release of the half year results. Therefore, no dividend
was declared for the first quarter of 2009.
