TRADING STATEMENT
Earnings per share and headline earnings per share for the six months ending 31
March 2009 are expected to be respectively 35% to 40% lower and 38% to 43% lower
than the corresponding period last year.
Earnings for the full year however, are still expected to exceed those for the
2008 financial year, in line with the expectations expressed in the 2008 annual
report.
The financial information on which this trading statement has been based has not
been reviewed and reported on by the external auditors.
The results for the six months ended 31 March 2009 will be published on 13 May
2009.
