Change to the board and clarification on the suspension of the company`s
listing on the JSE Limited
In terms of section 3.59 of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, the board
wishes to advise that Ms Melanie Steyn has resigned from her role as an
executive director of the company with immediate effect.
The company also wishes to clarify the reason for the suspension of its
listing on the JSE Limited as a result of an audit or review opinion on the
company`s financial results for the year ended 31 December 2008 not yet being
available. Shareholders are referred to the announcement released by the
company on 30 March 2009 advising that the board had resolved to place the
company`s operations under care and maintenance for a period of three months
and to the announcement dated 9 April 2009 containing the unaudited, unreviewed
financial results of the company and advising that the auditors of the company
had not been able to provide an audit or review opinion on the financial results
as they had not completed their audit procedures.
Audited or reviewed results will be released by the company as soon as it is
possible to do so.
