RESULTS OF GENERAL MEETING AND FURTHER CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT
Results of general meeting
Shareholders are referred to the Dorbyl circular dated 16 April 2009
("the circular") detailing the disposal by Dorbyl of the property situated in
Korsten, Port Elizabeth, to Slip Knot Investments 777 (Proprietary) Limited for
a total cash consideration of R36 million ("the Transaction").
At a general meeting of shareholders of Dorbyl held on Tuesday, 5 May 2009, all
resolutions relating to the Transaction were passed unanimously by the
shareholders present and voting, in person or by proxy, at the general meeting,
resulting in the Transaction becoming unconditional.
Further cautionary announcement
Further to the cautionary announcement dated 28 August 2008, and the latest
renewal thereof dated 20 March 2009, shareholders are advised that negotiations
are still in progress, which, if successfully concluded, may have a material
effect on Dorbyl`s share price.
Shareholders are accordingly advised to continue exercising caution when dealing
in their shares in the Company.
