APPOINTMENT OF NEW DIRECTOR
Shareholders are advised that Mr John Mckenzie was appointed non-executive
independent director to the board of directors of the Company with effect from 7
May 2009.
Mr Mckenzie currently serves on the boards of Sappi, business-led initiative
Accelerate Cape Town and is chairman of the board of trustees of the University
of Cape Town Foundation. He has held several senior executive positions globally
and in South Africa. In 1999 he was appointed chairman and chief executive
officer of the Caltex Corporation, and served as president for Asia, Middle East
and Africa of the Chevron Texaco Corporation from October 2001 to January 2004.
