TRADING STATEMENT
In accordance with paragraph 3.4 (b) of the Listings Requirements of the JSE
Limited, shareholders are advised that in respect of the Company`s results for
the year ended 28 February 2009:
headline earnings per share is expected to be between 565% and 585% lower
compared to the restated results for the prior comparative period; and
earnings per share is expected to be between 455% and 475% lower compared to the
restated results for the prior comparative period.
Restated Results
The Kairos BEE Employee Trust ("the trust") was not consolidated in formulating
the Company`s results for the year ended 28 February 2008. The effect of
consolidating the trust retrospectively results in earnings and headline
earnings for the prior period increasing by approximately R1.5 million.
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been
reviewed by the Company`s auditors.
The audited results for the year ended 28 February 2009 are expected to be
published before 29 May 2009.
