RESIGNATION OF MR TOKYO SEXWALE AS EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN OF MVELA GROUP
The board of directors ("board") of Mvela Group wishes to announce the
resignation of Tokyo Sexwale ("Tokyo") as Executive Chairman and as a member of
the Mvela Group board with effect from 11 May 2009.
Mikki Xayiya, who is the current Deputy Executive Chairman, has been appointed
as Executive Chairman with immediate effect.
Mikki Xayiya commented:
"It is with reluctance but understanding that we release Tokyo from our board.
We appreciate the need for him to return to public service, full in the
knowledge that his legacy will live on in the dealings and continued value
growth of Mvela Group. He brings with him vast knowledge and experience which we
know will benefit the country as a whole."
