APPOINTMENT TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
In compliance with section 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited,
the board of directors are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Anton Keet
as an executive director to the board with effect from 08 May 2009.
Anton is an admitted attorney, conveyancer and notary having completed a
Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Cape Town in 1991 and a Bachelor of
Law at the University of Stellenbosch in 1995.
He was admitted as an attorney in 1997 after completing his articles at the
respected legal firm, then known as Jan S de Villiers and Company. Thereafter he
commenced private practice at the Cape Town-based legal firm Heyns and Partners
Inc and was appointed as a director of the firm in 2001.
In 2005 he established his own legal practice in Cape Town specialising in
commercial litigation, business-related law and general legal practice. In 2006,
the firm, known as Simons Keet Inc, expanded to become a fully empowered legal
practice.
Anton joined Queensgate Holdings (Pty) Limited at the end of 2006 as Group Legal
Advisor and was appointed as a director of the same company in August 2008, a
position still held by him. Anton continues to serve as a trustee on various
trusts based in South Africa.
