In compliance with the Listings Requirements of JSE Limited the following
information is provided:
Imperial wishes to announce that Mr David Drury Gnodde (51) has been appointed
as Chief Executive Officer of the group`s insurance division, comprising of
Regent Insurance Company Limited and Regent Life Assurance Company Limited. Mr
Gnodde has also been appointed to the Executive Committee of Imperial Holdings.
Before taking up the appointment with the group, he was an executive director
and chief operating officer of PPS.
The appointment is effective from May 25th 2009.
