APPOINTMENT OF COMPANY SECRETARY
In accordance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE
Limited, a.b.e is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr William Somerville
as Company Secretary with effect from 19 May 2009, in place of Mr Lawrence Avis,
who acted as Company Secretary and Financial Director. Mr Avis will therefore
act solely as the Financial Director.
Mr Somerville was formerly Group Company Secretary of Absa, a position he held
for 12 years until October 2007. He has extensive experience in company
secretarial and corporate governance matters.
