TRADING UPDATE
In terms of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, companies are
required to publish a trading statement as soon as they are satisfied that a
reasonable degree of certainty exists that the financial results for the
period to be reported on will differ by at least 20% or more from the
financial results for the previous corresponding period.
Shareholders are advised that StratCorp is currently finalising its results
for the twelve months ended 28 February 2009 and anticipates that the group
will reflect a basic and headline loss for the current financial year as
follows:
Basic loss per share Between 20 and 22 cents
Headline loss per share Between 18 and 20 cents
The main contributors to the decline in basic and headline earnings per share
are the impairment of investments in and loans advanced to investment and
associated companies.
The financial information on which this trading update is based has not been
reviewed or reported on by the company`s auditors.
The company`s results for the twelve months ended 28 February 2009 are
expected to be released on SENS during the week ending 29 May 2009.
