RESIGNATION AND CHANGE IN ROLE OF DIRECTORS
In terms of Section 3.59 of the Listings Requirements, shareholders are advised
that Mr Mike Mantel has resigned as Financial Director and company secretary
with effect from 31 May 2009
Shareholders are further advised that, the current CEO, Mr Paul Fouche will take
over the role of Financial Director and company secretary with immediate effect
and Mr Neil Lamble has been appointed as Acting Chief Executive Officer with
effect from 1 June 2009 until a further appointment has been made.
Mr Paul Fouche is a certified Financial Accountant. He completed his BComm
degree in 1977, and then joined Peat Marwick, Mitchell & Co, completing his
articles in 1980, following which he decided to move into the commercial world,
working as the group accountant and later financial director for a company
operating in the manufacturing, wholesale and building industry. In 1992 he
started his own accounting business servicing over 300 clients. Paul has been
exposed to businesses in most sectors of the economy and his strength lies in
the enormous amount of experience obtained during his 14 years in practice.
Mr Neil Lamble has a BA degree, Higher Diploma in Education and completed his
MBA in 1991. He has served as a director of the following companies:
Corobrik Coastal, Steiner Services, First Garment Rental, Boston Laundries,
Shield Security and Armtect Security.
He has had experience in strategic planning and the restructuring of companies
on a regional and national basis in a range of different industries including
the Bidvest and Tongaat groups. He has occupied various managerial positions,
and has headed up an HR Department.
