UPDATE TO SHAREHOLDERS AND RENEWAL OF CAUTIONARY
Shareholders are referred to the last renewal of cautionary announcement of 28
May 2009 in which shareholders were advised that Erbacon has entered into
discussions, which, if successfully concluded, may have a material impact on the
company`s securities.
Shareholders are hereby advised that Erbacon has entered into an agreement with
Civcontract Civils (Pty) Limited ("Civcon") and G4 Civils (Pty) Limited ("G4"),
in terms of which Erbacon will seek to acquire Civcon and G4 and introduce a BEE
equity shareholding in the company ("the transaction"), who wish to invest
capital to support the company`s acquisition strategy. Shareholders are hereby
advised that the transaction is subject to, inter alia, a due diligence
investigation and regulatory approvals. Shareholders will be provided with
further details pertaining to the transaction once such details have been
finalised and the due diligence investigation has been completed and regulatory
approvals obtained.
Shareholders are accordingly advised to continue to exercise caution when
dealing in the company`s securities until a further announcement is made.
