CHANGES TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Shareholders are advised of the following changes to the board of directors of
Austro:
Mark Petzer, the current Financial Director of the Group, has resigned from the
Board in order to further his career at a major mining group in South Africa.
There will be a handover period to the new incumbent and Mark will leave the
group effective on or before the 30th June 2009, depending on the extent of the
hand over period.
James Bennie will join Austro, with effect from the 8th June 2009, as the
group`s new Financial Director Designate. James is a qualified (CA) SA, having
completed his articles at Deloitte. Post his articles, he spent two years at the
South African Revenue Services before joining the Barloworld Group. He held the
position of Financial Director for the retail motor operation of Barloworld
before being transferred to the USA to take up his final position there as the
CFO of Barloworld Truck Centre Inc. He recently returned to South Africa after
the sale of this operation by Barloworld.
