TRADING STATEMENT
In terms of the Listings Requirements of JSE Limited, companies are required to
publish a trading statement as soon as they become reasonably certain that the
financial results for the period to be reported on will differ by more than 20%
from those of the previous corresponding period. Accordingly, a review of the
financial results for the year ended 28 February 2009 by management has
indicated that earnings per share will be between 6700% to 8100% higher, and
headline loss per share will be between 800% to 960% higher than the previous
corresponding period. The financial information on which this trading statement
is based has not been reviewed or reported on by Labat`s auditors.
Labat`s results for the year ended 28 February 2009 are expected to be published
on SENS on or about 12 June 2009.
