COMPETITION COMMISSION INVESTIGATON INTO THE CEMENT INDUSTRY
On 24 June 2009 the Competition Commission conducted a search and seizure
operation at the premises of the major cement manufacturers. This relates to a
broad investigation into the cement industry. Whilst reserving its rights, PPC
is co-operating with the Commission.
Since the inception of the Competition Act in 1999, PPC has been vigilant in
ensuring ongoing compliance with competition legislation.
