INDICATIVE ADJUSTMENT TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF DTCIDG- ZAE000137303
Investec Enhanced Dividend Securities (EDS)
As a result of the Datatec Limited capital reduction, warrant holders are
entitled to receive R1.02 for every warrant held. On "Ex" date the capital
reduction will result in a reduction of the share price, which may result in a
breach of the stop loss level of R13.00.
Investec will determine the effect of the capital reduction on the stop loss
level on close LDT 3 July 2009.
In the event that the stop loss is not compromised, as aforementioned warrant
holders will receive the capital reduction of R1.02.
However, prior to the LDT of the corporate action, should Investec determine
that the stop loss level will be compromised, Investec will adjust the terms and
conditions of DTCIDG in accordance with the indicative adjustments. This will
leave warrant holders in the same economic position as prior to the capital
reduction.
e.g.
DTC close LDT (3 Jul 2009): 17.70
DTC capital reduction (Ex 6 Jul 2009): 1.02
DTC Theoretical close Ex (6 Jul 2009) = 17.70-1.02 = 16.68 (Assuming no market
movement.)
