RESULTS OF GENERAL MEETING
Wesizwe shareholders are advised that all the resolutions detailed in the notice
of general meeting included in the circular posted to shareholders on 4 June
2009, were approved by the requisite majority of the Company`s shareholders
present or represented at the general meeting of shareholders held on 26 June
2009.
The special resolution authorizing the increase in the share capital will be
submitted for registration at the Companies and Intellectual Property
Registration Office as soon as possible
Commenting on the results, Mike Solomon, CEO of Wesizwe Platinum, said:
"On behalf of the board, I would like to thank our shareholders, including the
Bakubung-Ba-Ratheo Community and their advisors, for their ongoing support and
look forward to welcoming Anglo Platinum as a major shareholder.
"The 100% ownership of our core Frischgewaagd-Ledig Project resulting from this
deal, positions us to move ahead with our development plans whilst also
substantially increasing Wesizwe`s PGM resource base and attributable production
ounces which together serve to increase the underlying value of our asset base."
