CLOSED PERIOD SHARE REPURCHASE PROGRAM
In compliance with the JSE Limited ("JSE") Listings Requirements, shareholders
are advised that GijimaAst has entered into a repurchase program to repurchase
shares during its closed period. This period commences on 1 July 2009 and ends
on 25 August 2009 when the Company`s results are scheduled to be released.
In terms of the repurchase program, RMB Morgan Stanley has been mandated,
conditional upon approval by the Company`s sponsor of the Company`s working
capital pack and working capital statement by the Board of Directors, to
repurchase the Company`s shares in respect of up to 5% of the Company`s issued
share capital and at a price no greater than 10% above the weighted average of
the market value of ordinary shares for the 5 days immediately preceding the
date of purchase of such ordinary shares. Any repurchases will be effected
within certain pre-set parameters within the limits of the program, as
approved by shareholders at the Annual General Meeting held on 6 November 2008
and the Listings Requirements of the JSE.
