TRADING UPDATE
In terms of paragraph 3.4(b)(i) of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited,
listed companies are required to publish a trading statement as soon as they
become reasonably certain that the financial results for the next period to be
reported on will be more than 20% different from those of the previous
corresponding period or from a profit forecast previously provided to the market
in relation to such period.
It should be noted that the company will be publishing results for a nine month
period ended 31 March 2009 due to a change in the year end of the company,
compared to a twelve month period ended 30 June 2008. This trading update is
based on the comparison of these two periods.
The board would like to advise shareholders that there will be approximately 60%
to 80% improvement in terms of loss per share and headline loss per share.
The financial information, on which this trading statement is based, has not
been reviewed by the company`s auditors.
