CHANGE TO THE BOARD OF BASIL READ HOLDINGS LIMITED
In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, the
following information is disclosed:
The Board is pleased to announce that Ms. Given Refilwe Sibiya has been
appointed as a Non-executive Director of Basil Read Holdings Limited with effect
from 1 July 2009.
Ms. Sibiya currently holds the position of Director at Xabiso Chartered
Accountants and also serves on the Audit Committee of the Media Development and
Diversity Agency.
Ms. Sibiya`s career spanned various organizations namely KPMG Aiken & Peat as
Trainee Accountant, Internal Auditor at Anglo American Corporation (Group Audit
Services), Financial Consultant at Ebony Financial Services, Management
Consultant and Manager of Forensic Services at Nkonki Sizwe Ntsaluba and
Director Forensic Services and Director Corporate Governance Services at
SizweNtsaluba VSP. Ms. Sibiya is a Chartered Accountant and holds a BCom;
B.Acc; Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting.

appointment) is as follows:
