TRADING STATEMENT
This trading statement, in respect of the results for the year ended 31 March
2009, is published in accordance with paragraph 3.4 (b) of the Listings
Requirements of the JSE Limited.
Shareholders are advised that, for the year ended 31 March 2009, the company`s
earnings per share and headline earnings per share will be between 90% and 101%
lower than that reported on in the prior comparative period.
This decrease in earnings and headline earnings per share is a result of the
change in the principal activity of the company after the disposal of its
investment in Konkola Copper Mine Plc at the beginning of the fiscal year to 31
March 2009.
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been
reviewed or reported on by the company`s auditors. The company`s annual
financial results will be released on Monday, 13 July 2009.
