CHANGES TO SUBSIDIARY BOARDS OF DIRECTORS
Following the revision of the group`s board of directors in February 2009,
Esorfranki made a number of new appointments at subsidiary board level. These
appointments are in line with the strategy to streamline reporting structures
and realign group operations following the acquisitions of Patula Construction
(Pty) Limited and Shearwater Plant Hire (Pty) Limited in late 2008.
Roy McLintock (56), Managing Director of Franki Africa (Pty) Limited for the
past ten years, was appointed Managing Director of Esor Africa (Pty) Limited
with effect from 1 May 2009. This position will strategically align the group`s
two geotechnical operating entities into one business unit - Esorfranki
Geotechnical - within the larger civils construction group.
Bruce Atkinson (32) was appointed to the board of Esor Africa (Pty) Limited as
Financial Director with effect from 31 May 2009. Bruce was a partner at RSM
Betty and Dickson (Durban) prior to joining Esorfranki in August 2008. He was
involved with the Esorfranki annual audit since 2001.
Richard Maynard (45) was appointed as Managing Director of Esorfranki Civils
(Pty) Limited ("Esorfranki Civils" formerly Patula Construction (Pty) Limited),
with effect from 31 May 2009. Richard originally joined Patula Construction in
1996. He succeeds Andrew Brookstein in the role, who will remain as a director
on the Esorfranki Civils board.
Mark Green (38), Tinus Grobler (47) and Eric Stockter (43) were appointed as
directors to the board of Esorfranki Civils with effect from 31 May 2009.
Collectively they have 20 years service with Esorfranki Civils.
Esorfranki is confident the new appointees will continue to add significant
value in their new roles and help drive growth going forward.
The board of Esorfranki wishes all the new subsidiary board directors a long and
successful career with the group.
