DECLARED SPECIAL DIVIDEND ANNOUNCEMENT ON TELKOM SA LIMITED HOT ENHANCED
DIVIDEND SECURITIES - ("TKGIHE")
With reference to the special dividend announcement, the Directors of Telkom SA
Limited have declared an special dividend of 260 cents per installment share
payable on Monday, 20 July 2009, to ordinary shareholders recorded in the books
of the company at the close of business on Friday, 17 July 2009.
Accordingly, the warrant holders of the Hot Enhanced Dividend Securities,
TKGIHE, will receive a Telkom SA Limited special dividend of 260 cents per
ordinary share payable on Monday, 20 July 2009, in terms of the Cession clause
incorporated in the Supplement between the holders and Investec Bank Limited.
The last day to trade ("cum" the special dividend) in order to participate in
the ordinary dividend will be Friday, 10 July 2009.
TKGIHE HOT Enhanced Dividend Securities will commence trading "ex" the ordinary
dividend from the commencement of business on Monday, 13 July 2009 and the
record date will be Friday, 17 July 2009.
