CHANGE IN BOARD OF DIRECTORS
In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements,
shareholders of Infrasors are advised that the following changes have been
effected in the board of directors:
Resignation of a director
Mr. Le Roux Roets, having completed his contracted term of office will be
standing down from the position of Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
of Infrasors with effect from end June 2009. Le Roux will remain with the
Group in a new role as head of the silica division responsible for marketing
and new business development. The Infrasors board thanks Le Roux for his
contribution and looks forward to his ongoing participation in Infrasors`
business.
Appointment of Chief Executive Officer ("CEO")
With effect from July 2009 Mr. Trevor Robinson, Pr Eng BSc (Civil) has been
appointed to the role of CEO of Infrasors. Trevor is a member of the
Engineering Council of South Africa and has more than twenty years of
experience in mining, most recently as the former managing director of Concor
Mining and director of Concor Holdings (Pty) Ltd. The Infrasors board welcomes
the integration of his expertise and skills to our group.
Appointment of Financial Director ("FD")
In compliance with paragraph 3.84(h) of the JSE Listings Requirements, the
company is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Marius Potgieter as FD to
the board of Infrasors with effect from 1 July 2009.
Marius joined the group in October 2007 as Group Financial Manager. Since then
he has served on the Infrasors Executive Committee and has acted as Chief
Financial Officer to the Group.
Marius obtained a Bachelors of Commerce degree, a Honours degree (CTA) and
Masters of Commerce degree in Financial management from the Rand Afrikaans
University in Johannesburg. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant after
serving as articles clerk at Deloitte in South Africa and audit manager at
Watermans CA in Johannesburg. He has 8 years of diverse experience in finance
and administration, obtained in the tile adhesive manufacturing industry, the
office furniture manufacturing industry and base mineral mining industry.
Marius also lectured a Financial Management course at the Rand Afrikaans
University from 2002 to 2004.
