RETIREMENT OF DIRECTOR
In compliance with paragraph 3.59(b) of the Listings Requirements of the JSE
Limited, notice is hereby given that Mr Robert Anthony (Tony) Norton has retired
as a non-executive, independent director of Illovo.
In presenting his address at the 94th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the
Company, held earlier in the day, the Chairman of the Company, Mr R A Williams,
in noting that Mr Norton was retiring at the AGM, after serving as a non-
executive, independent director since 1997, thanked Mr Norton for his
contribution to the Company, particularly recording that Mr Norton`s experience
in the sugar industry and the corporate sector generally had made him a valuable
member of the board over a long period of time.
