Issue of shares
Application has been made to the London Stock Exchange and the JSE Limited
("JSE") for 1,775,000 new ordinary shares of 1p each in Jubilee to be issued and
listed on the JSE and admitted to trading on AIM on 16 July 2009.
The new shares have been allotted and issued as part of a private placement for
cash at a price of ZAR4.70 per share on 16 July 2009. The funds raised will be
used to cover transaction costs and intermediary working capital requirements
relating to the proposed Braemore Resources Plc acquisition. The new shares
will rank pari passu in all respects with the existing ordinary shares of the
Company.
Following admission to trading of the above new shares, the total of Jubilee
ordinary shares of 1p each in issue will be 120,149,269.
