Shareholders are advised that the company`s annual financial statements for the
period ended 31 March 2009 were posted to shareholders on 20 July 2009 and
contain no modifications to the audited results which were published on 1 June
2009. PricewaterhouseCoopers Inc. audited the results and the annual financial
statements of Cadiz and their reports are available for inspection at the
registered offices of the company. The annual report is also available online on
the group`s website at www.cadiz.co.za.

Notice is hereby given that the annual general meeting of the company will be
held at 11:00 on Wednesday, 2 September 2009, in the boardroom on the 4th Floor,
