Further to the reclassification of Mondi plc (South Africa, GB00B1CRLC47,
B1YCDP4) ordinary shares as domestic assets on the JSE Limited, FTSE and the JSE
announces that Mondi plc will be considered for inclusion in the FTSE/JSE Africa
Index Series, in accordance with the Ground Rules, at the September 2009
quarterly index review.
