ANGLOGOLD ASHANTI ANNOUNCES RESULTS OF GENERAL MEETING
Shareholders are advised that at the general meeting of shareholders of
AngloGold Ashanti held on Thursday, 30 July 2009, the ordinary resolution, as
specified in the notice of the meeting dated 29 June 2009, was passed by the
requisite majority of shareholders.
