Trading Statement
South Ocean`s headline earnings per share and earnings per share for the six
months ended 30 June 2009 are expected to be, respectively, between 75% to 85%
and 85% to 95% lower than for the corresponding period. As reported in the
corresponding period, headline earnings per share and the earnings per share was
45.3 cents per share.
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been
reviewed or reported on by South Ocean`s auditors. The results for the six
months ended 30 June 2009 are expected to be published on or about the 12th
August 2009.
