Gold One is pleased to announce the following senior management appointments.   
Syd Caddy (60) has been appointed Senior Vice President: Projects with effect   
from 1 August 2009.                                                             
Syd trained as a mining engineer and has more than 35 years of experience in    
various roles in the South African mining industry, managing his first mine at  
the age of 25 when he took over the running of Union Tin Mines.                 
Syd then served in various capacities in the gold and uranium mining industry,  
and was general manager of Black Mountain Minerals, Kloof Gold mine and West    
Driefontein Gold mine, while also serving as consulting engineer for JCI Limited
in the mid 1990`s. A registered Professional Engineer with the Engineering      
Council of South Africa and a Fellow of the South African Institute of Mining   
and Metallurgy and the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, he is also
the past President of the Association of Mine Managers of South Africa.         
Richard Stewart (33) has been appointed as Vice President: Geology with effect  
from 1 August 2009.                                                             
Richard will join the company as a member of the corporate projects team in     
South Africa. Richard has more than 10 years experience in the geological and   
mining industry of South Africa and is a member of the Geological Society of    
South Africa and the South African Council for Natural Scientific Professions.  
He commenced his career with JCI Limited after which he joined CSIR Mining      
Technology as a research geologist and later as Business Area Manager.  During  
this time he also obtained his PhD from Wits University.  He co-founded Shango  
Solutions, a geological consultancy where he remains as a non-executive         
director.  Richard has also held the position of Vice President Geology and     
Exploration for Uranium One Africa and most recently was an Investment          
Consultant for African Global Capital SA.                                       
Kellie Pickering (34) has been appointed as Australian company secretary with   
effect from 21 July 2009.                                                       
Kellie holds a BComm degree and is a CA (Aus). Kellie joined Gold One as group  
manager of accounting and finance in January 2008. Kellie has held senior       
finance positions in a wide range of industries in Sydney and London. Kellie has
diverse experience with local Australian companies and multinationals including 
AAPT Limited, Ernst & Young (Sydney and London), Enron Corporation, and Walt    
Disney International. Kellie qualified as a chartered accountant with Ernst &   
Young in 1999.                                                                  
Commenting on the appointments, Gold One President and CEO Neal Froneman said,  
"As the company continues to grow, we believe that it is important to maintain  
clear role clarity between operations, projects and corporate functions.  The   
newly established project function will focus on our development pipeline,      
especially Ventersburg, and our external growth opportunities that we are       
investigating."
