AFROX TRADING STATEMENT
Shareholders are advised that Afrox`s results for the six months ended 30 June
2009 are expected to be released on or about Thursday, 27 August 2009.
In compliance with the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited and in respect
of the six months ended 30 June 2009, and comparing it with the six month
period of last year ("comparable period"), the Group hereby advises
shareholders that basic earnings per share and headline earnings per share are
expected to be between 50% and 60% lower than those of the comparable period.
Shareholders are advised that the forecast financial information contained in
this trading statement has not been reviewed nor reported on by the company`s
external auditors.
