CHANGE TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of JSE Limited,
the board of directors of QPG hereby notifies its shareholders that Mr Kamil
Abdul-Karrim has been appointed as a non-executive director of the company with
effect from 3 August 2009.
Kamil holds a B.Compt degree from Unisa, a post graduate degree in Management
from WITS University and an MBA from Bond University. He is a consultant in the
hospitality industry and is the Managing Director of Pam Golding Tourism &
Hospitality Consulting (Proprietary) Limited. Kamil has held the position of
Director of Strategic Marketing with Southern Sun Hotels and is currently a non-
executive director of the JSE listed Hospitality Property Fund Limited.
Kamil is widely accepted and recognised as the hotel industry`s preferred
partner in establishing the feasibility, configuration and positioning of new
hotel development projects as well as the turnaround of existing hotels towards
achieving their optimum performance capability. This expertise and knowledge is
expected to enhance QPG`s vision and objectives in the hospitality industry.
