DECLARED FINAL DIVIDEND ANNOUNCEMENT ON GOLD FIELDS LIMITED ENHANCED DIVIDEND
SECURITIES - ("GFIIDH")
With reference to the dividend announcement, the Directors of Gold Fields
Limited have declared a final dividend of 80 cents per ordinary share payable on
Monday, 31 August 2009 to ordinary shareholders, recorded in the books of the
company at the close of business on Friday, 28 August 2009.
Accordingly, the warrant holders of the Enhanced Dividend Securities, GFIIDH,
will receive a Gold Fields Limited dividend of 80 cents per security on Monday,
31 August 2009 in terms of the Cession clause incorporated in the Supplement
between the holders and Investec Bank Limited. The last day to trade ("cum"
the dividend) in order to participate in the dividend will be Friday, 21 August
2009.
GFIIDH Enhanced Dividend Securities will commence trading "ex" the dividend from
the commencement of business on Monday, 24 August 2009, and the record date will
be Friday, 28 August 2009.
