TRADING STATEMENT
Shareholders are advised that the headline earnings per share ("HEPS) and
earnings per share ("EPS") for the year ended 30 June 2009 will be in the
following ranges:

Normalised HEPS are calculated excluding the impact of fair value adjustments
relating to interest rate swaps that were not hedge accounted but which related
to the group`s interest bearing debt, and non recurring income and costs.
Revenue increased by approximately 12,2% to R370m and EBITDA increased by
approximately 11,0% to R118m.
Trading Statement:
Metrofile Holdings is currently finalising its results for the year ended 30
June 2009. In terms of rule 3.4(b) of the Listings Requirements of the JSE
Limited, a listed company is required to publish a trading statement as soon as
a reasonable degree of certainty exists that the financial results for the next
reporting period to be reported on will differ by at least 20% from those of the
previous corresponding period. In this regard the basic earnings per share and
headline earnings per share are shown in the above table.
The information on which this announcement has been based has not been reviewed
or reported on by the group`s auditors. Audited results will be released on or
about 2 September 2009
