RESULTS OF GENERAL MEETING AND RENEWAL OF CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT
1. INTRODUCTION
Shareholders are advised that at the general meeting of Bonatla shareholders
held at 09:00 on Tuesday, 11 August 2009, the ordinary and special resolutions
proposed in the Notice of General Meeting contained in the circular to
shareholders dated 27 July 2009 concerning:
- the related party acquisition of 30 000 square metres of mixed use
plus all improvements thereon at the Durban Point Waterfront, from
VLC Commercial and Industrial Properties (Proprietary) Limited;
- the related party acquisition of up to a maximum of 170 000 square
meters of vacant mixed use bulk at the Durban Point Waterfront, from
VLC Commercial and Industrial Properties (Proprietary) Limited
were all passed by the requisite number of shareholders.
Application shall be made to the JSE for the lifting of the suspension of the
trading in Bonatla shares from the opening of business on Monday, 18 August
2009. Shareholders shall be updated as to when the suspension is lifted.
2. RENEWAL OF CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT
Shareholders are advised that negotiations are still in progress which may
have a material impact on the price at which a Bonatla share trades, and
shareholders are therefore advised to continue to exercise caution when
dealing in Bonatla shares.
