RESIGNATION OF CEO AND APPOINTMENT OF ACTING CEO
Shareholders are hereby advised that the KCM CEO, Hein le Riche has resigned as
CEO with effect from close of business on Tuesday 11 August 2009 in order to
devote all his attention to negotiate the transaction on behalf of the Company
with China National Geological and Mining (HK) Limited which, if successful,
would result in the Company acquiring interests in mining outside of diamonds,
which may have a material effect on the price of the Company`s Shares.
Shareholders are referred to the renewal of cautionary announcement released on
SENS on 29 July 2009 in this regard.
Mr Le Riche remains as an executive director and a member of the Board.
Advocate Phemelo Sehunelo, currently a director of the Company, will act as
interim CEO until a new CEO is appointed by the Board.
The Board wishes to thank Mr le Riche for his efforts in promoting the interests
of the Company and the successful listing of KCM during his tenure.
