TRADING STATEMENT
In terms of the JSE Limited`s Listings Requirements, companies are required to
publish a trading statement as soon as they are reasonably certain that the
financial results for the current reporting period will be more than 20%
different than that of the previous corresponding period.
The volatility of the Rand negatively affected Mustek`s earnings and as a
result, realised and unrealised foreign exchange losses have been incurred.
In light of the above, Mustek`s shareholders are informed that, for the period
ended 30 June 2009, Mustek`s headline earnings per share and basic earnings per
share are expected to be between 30% and 35% lower than the headline earnings
per share of 73,73 cents and the basic earnings per share of 73,78 cents of the
previous financial year.
Net asset value per share is expected to be between 520 cents and 530 cents.
The above information has not been reviewed or reported on by the company`s
auditors. The company`s final results for the year ended 30 June 2009 are
expected to be published on or about 28 August 2009.
