ANNOUNCEMENT
Omnia is pleased to announce that it has acquired KwaZulu-Natal-based petroleum
jelly and white oils manufacturer Petroleum Fine Product ("PFP") ("the
acquisition").
"This acquisition represents a carefully considered move to further enhance the
product and growth opportunities available to the group," said MD Rod Humphris.
The acquisition of PFP allow Omnia to have access to bulk base ingredients and
would strengthen its existing consumer care portfolio, he added.
PFP would position the chemical division to take advantage of new opportunities
and deliver quality products into the consumer care market.
The acquisition is not a categorised transaction in terms of the Listings
Requirements of the JSE Limited.
