Further to the Company`s announcements of 2 July 2009 and 17 August 2009, the
Company has now issued 19,510,403 new ordinary shares to the IFC raising US$6
million. Application has been made for admission to trading of the new ordinary
shares on AIM and the JSE Limited and admission is expected on 27 August 2009.
The total number of Kiwara ordinary shares outstanding following this issue of
shares will be 197,751,210.
